RELAXING Mindful Palette Coloring Book

This 300 gsm paper is incredible and these Mindful Palette coloring books are the only ones I’ve bought that have it. This paper works with any medium you want to throw at it. Watercolor, Inktense, water based markers, alcohol markers, gel pens, colored pencils, acrylic paint pens…anything. It’s similar to a hot press watercolor paper. The smoothness isn’t hard in my brush markers at all. I used Tombow water based markers in the image pictured and I used TONS of water just to see what it would handle. And it took everything I gave it with major warping or damage to the grain. There were a few places where I felt like I disturbed the grain off the paper but once it dried it was unnoticeable. The images are clearly and evenly printed. I appreciate the simplicity but not boring images. They are quirky and fun and feel original as compared to some AI books I’ve bought. The include a blotter page but even when I colored with alcohol markers I barely had any bleed through. And with the water based markers there was zero bleed through. I can happily recommend this coloring book to anyone. Kids would love it but even as an adult I’ve enjoyed relaxing to the fun but easy pages. Perfect book to destress after an annoying day at the office!

This is a wonderful adult coloring book. I sat down to color a picture and before I knew it, over ninety minutes had passed!The designs are simple but detailed, with a lot of spaces to color. The subjects are varied: animals, objects, and landscapes. Every part of a design has different sections to color, with patterns and/or lines. The lines are crisp. I like every design in the book, and it’s rare I like every single page.The paper is very thick and feels lovely to color on. I prefer to color with alcohol markers, but they bleed through almost all paper. They did not bleed through this paper. I put a piece of cardstock behind my picture, but the back of the picture was still white when I finished. No bleed through at all. The book includes a blotting page.Overall, I am very impressed by Mindful Palette. They are my new favorite maker of coloring books.

I love the imagination and modern bent of these pictures that make me want to pull out the markers and get lost in creativity for awhile.My 4- and 6-year-old granddaughters and daughter-in-law love to rip out a page, (they perforation separates cleanly), and sit down to color together around the kitchen table. We make patterns in the larger open spaces and make the pictures our own.The pages work and look great with crayon, colored pencil, and markers.

You don't realize how stressful the modern world can be until you take a break from it. I love this coloring book. I use colored pencils and non-permanent markers with it and unwind, which is no easy task for me. I can't draw but am creative and this book is an excellent outlet. When it's all full, I'll order another. It doesn't come in a box, but it's wrapped in plastic and makes a wonderful gift for the right person.

This product is excellent. The paper is so heavyset there's no need to worry when using markers that could bore through regular paper. The designs are interesting and inviting to work on. It is a good hobby or distraction during breaks or wait times. Highly recommend.
